- Did you know that if you allow enough dust to build up on your smoke detectors, you risk damaging them? Better to avoid it! A simple vacuum cleaning with attached soft brush is enough.
- To kill germs, bacteria, mites and bed bugs, vacuum your mattresses or, if necessary, with a steamer. If it is a stain on the mattress, a solution of liquid dish soap mixed with baking soda in a spray bottle fixes the matter…. Just spray the solution on the stain, then blot or rub with a clean cloth.
- Keep your door mats on each side: inside and out. The outdoor mat should be thicker and harder, to better remove dirt and dust from the shoes.
Then all you have to do is vacuum to clean them properly.
- Start by removing the racks when you clean your oven each year. Mix ½ cup of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water, and coat your oven with it. Let the solution work overnight. It's as easy as pie: Before cleaning with soap and water, Wipe the tupperware with absorbent paper towels.
- How to clean your lights to make them shine clean?
Remove the bulb, then cover the socket with a zip bag held in place by a rubber band. In a 1L spray bottle, prepare your solution, comprising: 500ml of water, 450ml of alcohol and 50ml of dish soap. Spray the solution on the fixture. Place an upturned umbrella or towels to protect your floor from splashing.

Prepare a solution of 10 drops of peppermint essential oil, mixed with a little degreasing soap in a basin filled with 4L of lukewarm water.
